The application site is situated within West Berkshire but is immediately adjacent to the boundary with Basingstoke and Deane Borough. The decision on whether to grant planning permission will be made by West Berkshire Council’s planning committee and residents in West Berkshire can submit representations to their local Ward Councillor whose contact details can be located through the link below.
The majority of the residents who are expected to shop at the new Lidl will in fact be residents in Basingstoke and Deane. However it is expected that West Berkshire’s planning department will seek comments from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and therefore local residents in Tadley and the surrounding area should feel free to contact their Basingstoke and Deane Councillor to make their views on the application known: those contact details can be located through the relevant link below.
In order to ensure your comments are provided to the relevant planning officer once the planning application has been registered, we suggest that any letters or e-mails you send to either Council should be copied to Lidl’s property team (at firstname.lastname@example.org or Southampton Property Office, Lidl GB, Foxes Park, Brownhill Way, Nursling, Southampton, SO16 0AW).
